Hi, I'm Rebecca
I'm Rebecca, the founder and business owner behind Marketing Superpower.
I am passionate about marketing and have happily worked in post graduate marketing roles for over 25 years for a range of businesses, large and small before setting up Marketing Superpower.
It saddens me that some small business owners have come to believe that marketing is about tricks, hacks, or the need to resort to misleading people in order to make them buy their services or products. These types of practices are unsustainable and will never work. There is no 'dark art' or one size fits all quick hack behind good marketing and your customers can't be manipulated into buying. Your customers are more intelligent and deserve so much more. Good marketing is all about empathy and it needs to be respectful as well as to resonate with them.
I work with clients so they are able to understand their customers. This then enables them to better able to anticipate, and satisfy their needs both now and in the future. It is from here that strong, credible and highly successful businesses are born.
The business owners who I work with want to make a difference and are led by their hearts and their passion. These are the businesses who share my own values. I have experience working in many industries from coaching, training, IT and software, media, professional services, financial services, engineering and house builders - to name just a few. Although the subject and jargon may change, these core driving principles of good practice marketing will always remain consistent and are central to what I do.
As well as being a CIM qualified marketer I am also a qualified Executive Coach so in addition to offering done for your services I can also be your marketing mentor, sounding board and cheerleader. When you work with me your challenges become my challenges, and your success becomes my motivation.
In 2020 I was made redundant. As the pandemic meant that work was in short supply I initially established what had previously been a side hustle - Rebecca Oxenham Jewellery. This gave me a great insight into running a small business and being a business owner. I realised how much I enjoyed working for myself. I also met many small business owners who were struggling to find effective marketing so I decided to set up Marketing Superpower. I thrive on the satisfaction of being able to see small businesses thrive and grow, and I would love to be part of your journey.
